BYD DEPLOYS 3,000 ULTRA-FAST EV CHARGERS ACROSS EUROPE

BYD's Flash Chargers deliver full battery charges in approximately five minutes, significantly faster than conventional charging infrastructure. Each unit costs an estimated €580,000 ($670,000), with the total network rollout requiring roughly $2 billion in capital investment. The chargers operate at 1,500kW capacity, positioning BYD to compete directly with established charging networks while supporting its European vehicle expansion. The company has already begun deployment, with initial installations now operational in Germany and the UK.
