The agreement represents one of the largest payouts related to content moderation failures in the adult entertainment sector. The lawsuits alleged that the company failed to adequately screen uploads and remove illegal material despite awareness of the problem.
Aylo acquired Pornhub and other adult sites from Mindgeek in 2023. The company has since implemented new verification systems requiring all performers to provide identification.
The settlement does not constitute an admission of liability. Aylo stated it continues to invest in trust and safety measures, including AI-based detection systems and cooperation with law enforcement.
