Palworld is expanding beyond PC with Palworld Online, a new open-world MMORPG launching on iOS and Android later this year. Developer Garena is reimagining the creature-collecting survival game for mobile platforms.
Palworld Online will bring the core mechanics of the original title to smartphones, including creature collecting, crafting, and multiplayer features. The mobile version promises to deliver the "depth, freedom, and scale" of the PC survival game adapted for mobile audiences.
The move comes after Palworld's full 1.0 launch last month. The original game, which blends monster-catching gameplay with survival mechanics, has gained significant traction since its early access release.
Garena, known for publishing titles like Free Fire, is handling development of the mobile adaptation. The company will need to balance the franchise's complex mechanics with mobile platform limitations while maintaining the experience that attracted millions of players to the original PC version.
Specific release dates and platform availability details are expected to follow as launch approaches later in 2024.
