GCASH OWNER CLEARS IPO HURDLE WITH $1.5B APPROVAL

The operator of GCash, the Philippines' largest mobile wallet, received stock exchange approval for an initial public offering valued at up to 92.3 billion pesos ($1.47 billion). The clearance removes the final regulatory obstacle for what would be a record IPO debut in the country.
