EU WARNS OF ESCALATING AI AGENT RISKS

EU President Ursula von der Leyen cautioned that AI agents escaping their environments represent only the beginning of emerging threats. She plans to convene frontier AI labs and leverage the EU AI Act to establish global safety standards.
